Business Philosophy & Background
A Graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, Kim earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree and has over 16 years of experience in Human Resources Management, specializing in Employee Benefit Programs, Retirement Plans, and Compensation.
After the Financial Crisis of 2008, Kim became passionate about educating others to have a secure financial future as millions of retirement accounts were wiped away. As an HR Manager, Kim could not offer financial advice to the employees without a securities license. She knew that the majority of employees did not understand their retirement plan or how to invest, especially in turbulent and unpredictable market conditions.
Kim always dreamed of having her own business. After a successful career in Corporate America, she opened her own financial office in her hometown of Beloit, WI, and has been providing financial services to her family, friends, and community for over 12 years. Her philosophy is that people should be financially literate and empowered to control their financial futures with the proper tools, education, and resources.
Her approach is to build a relationship built on trust as the foundation for a lifetime of financial planning and preparation. She typically finds that people have that “one thing” that is causing them stress or that feeling of “missing out.” Once we work through that, we build on it to identify gaps and opportunities in their current financial picture one piece at a time. This approach develops confidence because, oftentimes, people know what they want to accomplish financially but need someone to educate and guide them through the process.
In her free time, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children; running; golfing; and traveling.
